Ubisoft will be releasing more of its games on Steam in the upcoming months, including Far Cry 6, Riders Republic, Rainbow Six Extraction, and Monopoly Madness.
Far Cry 6 will be the first to launch on May 12, followed by Riders Republic, Rainbow Six Extraction, and Monopoly Madness on June 8th, June 15th and June 22nd, respectively.
Ubisoft returned to Steam in December of 2022 after a three-year absence, releasing titles such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Anno 1800.
Recently, the company also released The Division 2 and Watch Dogs: Legion on Steam.
Ubisoft had previously stopped selling new releases on Steam in 2019 due to disagreements over the revenue split.
Ubisoft claimed that when it stopped selling new releases on Steam, pre-orders for The Division 2 increased six times on its own storefront, where it didn’t need to pay Valve’s commission of up to 30 percent of sales.
The company’s CEO, Yves Guillemot, had stated earlier that the Epic Games Store offered ‘better terms’ and an increased player exposure to their own store.
