Nintendo has opened pre-registration for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, an offline version of its popular mobile game, which will be released globally on December 3, 2024. The launch follows Nintendo’s recent decision to shut down the online version of Pocket Camp, ending service on November 28. Although Nintendo hasn’t disclosed the specific reasons for discontinuing the online version, they were quick to announce that players could still enjoy their saved data in this new offline experience.

In Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, players can look forward to the same relaxing gameplay, including favorite activities like fishing, bug-catching, chatting with animal friends, and decorating a campsite with items such as tents, swings, and more. Just like the original, the offline version will feature monthly events, including garden activities, fishing tours, and seasonal festivities like Halloween, Toy Day, and Summer Festival.

The offline version also introduces a new area called Whistle Pass. Here, players can create and share a Camper Card, a personalized introduction with chosen colors and poses. They can use these cards to invite others and enjoy interactive features like a live guitar performance, adding a social element even to the offline experience.

For players interested in accessing all past content from the game’s seven-year history, Nintendo offers a one-time purchase. This upgrade, priced at $9.99 until January 31, 2025, gives access to every item and event from the online version. After January 31, the price will increase to $19.99.

Pre-registration for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete is now available on both iOS and Android through the App Store and Google Play Store, allowing fans around the world to secure their spot ahead of the December 3 release date.
