PUBG Mobile Global Open 2025: Slot Allocation and Prize Pool Details

The PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) 2025 is set to take place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from April 12th to 13th, offering amateur teams worldwide a chance to compete on a global stage.

Registration and Qualification Process

• Registration Period: January 16th to February 9th, 2025.
• Open Qualifiers: Starting February 13th, teams will participate in matches to secure a spot in the preliminaries.
• Preliminaries: The top 16 teams from the open qualifiers will compete, with seven teams advancing to the Main Event.
• Main Event Slot Allocation:
  • Seven teams from preliminaries.
  • Eight teams receiving direct invitations.
  • One team representing host country Uzbekistan.

Prize Pool

The Main Event features a total prize pool of $500,000, approximately ₱27,500,000 (Philippine Pesos).

James Yang, Director of Global Esports Center at Level Infinite, Tencent Games, emphasized the tournament’s role in fostering the esports ecosystem in Uzbekistan and Central Asia, providing amateur players worldwide with opportunities to showcase their skills on a global platform.

2025 PUBG Mobile Esports Investment

In addition to PMGO, Level Infinite plans to invest $10 million (~₱550 million) into the PUBG Mobile esports ecosystem for 2025, supporting events like the PUBG Mobile Global Championship and the PUBG Mobile World Cup.
