MOONTON Games has announced its 2025 esports roadmap for the hit MOBA game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), promising a thrilling year filled with international tournaments, regional leagues, and the expansion of its esports ecosystem. Fans can expect high-stakes competitions, including the return of iconic events like the M World Championship and the Mid-Season Cup (MSC).
The MSC 2025 will run from mid-July to early August, setting the stage for global showdowns among top teams. Meanwhile, the M7 World Championship, MLBB’s flagship event, is scheduled for January 2026, wrapping up the 2025 competitive season with unmatched intensity. Between these marquee tournaments, the MLBB Professional Leagues (MPL) will keep the excitement alive, with two competitive phases: the first running from early March to late June, and the second from late August to early November.
The 2025 calendar also features third-party tournaments, including Snapdragon Pro Series events, which add variety and extra competition to the scene. The Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Challenge Finals kick off in February, followed by the Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Masters in April. From August to November, players and fans can dive into a fresh season of the Snapdragon Pro Series New Season.
Adding prestige to the 2025 calendar, the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand will host Mobile Legends esports as a medal event in December, spotlighting both Men’s and Women’s tournaments. This inclusion underscores MLBB’s growing recognition as a competitive esport in global multi-sport events.
MOONTON Games is also working to expand its regional leagues, with plans to launch a new Chinese league in 2025. This move reflects the developer’s commitment to fostering a larger, more inclusive competitive scene and tapping into the growing esports potential of the region.
In a significant addition to its esports portfolio, MOONTON Games has unveiled plans to develop an ecosystem for Magic Chess: Go Go (MCGG), a spinoff auto battler launching next year. The first tournaments for MCGG will debut in Indonesia before gradually expanding to other Southeast Asian countries, hinting at an exciting future for fans of the new title.
The 2025 roadmap positions Mobile Legends as a leader in the mobile esports space, ensuring an action-packed year for players, teams, and fans alike. Whether you’re a casual viewer or a competitive player, there’s something for everyone in MLBB’s global and regional events, promising high-octane matches and unforgettable moments.
