The wait is over—Indiana Jones and the Great Circle™, the D.I.C.E. Adventure Game of the Year, is now officially available worldwide on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro. After debuting as a timed Xbox exclusive, MachineGames and Lucasfilm Games’ cinematic, story-driven adventure is finally giving PlayStation fans a chance to step into the dusty boots of one of cinema’s most iconic archaeologists.
Set between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade, the game follows Indiana Jones on an original, artifact-laced journey filled with treacherous traps, mysterious symbols, and globe-trotting danger. This single-player action-adventure weaves combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving into a tightly crafted narrative that has earned it praise across more than 50 “Best of 2024” lists.
The PlayStation 5 version comes fully optimized to make the most of Sony’s hardware. Running at a smooth 60 frames per second with high-resolution fidelity, the game delivers crisp visuals and near-instantaneous loading times thanks to SSD optimization. PlayStation 5 Pro users get an additional boost in visual enhancements, offering an even more immersive experience for those with high-end displays.
DualSense controller integration adds an extra layer of interactivity. Players will feel every whip crack and environmental cue through haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. The lightbar dynamically reflects Indy’s status in real time, creating an intuitive layer of gameplay awareness that heightens immersion.
Two new whip-based mechanics—“Open Season” and “Sleight of Hand”—also launch today across all platforms. “Open Season” allows players to temporarily increase damage against enemies after a whip strike, while “Sleight of Hand” lets Indy disarm enemies with precision, drawing their weapon straight to his hand. These additions bring deeper strategic combat options just as PS5 players are getting their first taste of the adventure.
The game also fully supports PlayStation’s Community Game Help feature. Stuck on a puzzle or unsure how to complete a challenge? Players can instantly connect to in-game assistance specific to their mission—no external walkthroughs required.
Fans won’t have to wait long for more content. Later this year, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants™ DLC will launch, expanding the story with new locations, mysteries, and enemies. The DLC will be available as part of the Premium and Premium Upgrade editions.
In addition to PlayStation 5, the game remains available on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Game Pass.
