Xbox has had their Developer_Direct event recently this month. It reveals five upcoming games that will be available for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Game Pass or cloud.
One of the games announced was Avowed created by Obsidian. It will be an RPG that will showcase the company’s style of player choice games and deep themes included. It will launch in Fall 2024. An exclusive interview with the Game Director Carrie Patel and Gameplay Director Gabe Paramo has occurred in the Xbox Podcast on January 22.
The next announcement is Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II that will launch on May 21, 2024. Ninja Theory has revealed that the title is currently in the final months of developments. The game is available to be pre-installed on the Xbox Game Pass and wishlist on Steam.
Another title revealed is Visions of Mana made by SQUARE ENIX that will come in Summer 2024. This will be the company’s newest mainline entry in the series for the past 15 years and their debut on Xbox platforms. Masaru Oyamada, the series producer, has presented a sneak peak of the gameplay and behind-the-scenes footage in the event.
Ara: History Untold is a historical strategy game by Oxide Games launching in Fall 2024. An in-depth interview with Design Director Michelle Menard explains more details about the game. The title is available to wishlist on Steam now.
Finally, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has revealed over 13 minutes of gameplay footage and developer insights. MachineGames, the makers of Wolfenstein: The New Order and New Colossus, and LucasFilm Games have collaborated and executive produced by Bethesda Game Studios’ Todd Howard.
