With the PlayStation 5 Pro set to hit stores on November 7, Sony has revealed a list of more than 50 games that will launch with exclusive enhancements on the new console. For those contemplating the $700 price tag for Sony’s mid-generation upgrade, this extensive game list could make the decision easier.

Enhanced Games Available at PS5 Pro Launch

The following popular titles will come optimized with advanced graphics features such as improved ray tracing, higher frame rates, and Sony’s proprietary upscaling technology, PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution:

  • Baldur’s Gate 3
  • The Last of Us Part II Remastered
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
  • God of War Ragnarök
  • NBA 2K25
  • Dragon Age: The Veilguard

Each of these games has been tailored to leverage the PS5 Pro’s upgraded hardware, enhancing visual details, loading times, and gameplay smoothness.

However, the lineup also has some notable absences. Sony confirmed that other high-profile games aren’t part of the launch list, though they may receive upgrades down the line.

Games Currently Missing from the Enhanced List

The following games are not on the launch list for PS5 Pro enhancements, despite fans’ high expectations:

  • Gran Turismo 7 – Though an enhanced version was previously announced, it seems it won’t be ready for the launch date.
  • Final Fantasy XVI – Known for frame rate issues on the standard PS5, players anticipated an optimized version but will have to wait.
  • Returnal – Another popular title missing from the initial launch list.
  • Elden Ring – Fans have long hoped for an optimized edition of this hit, but it may come later.

It’s likely that Sony is timing the release of additional enhanced games based on the PS5 Pro’s early sales, and the company has hinted that more titles may get Pro upgrades in the future.

Noteworthy Upgrades Beyond Games

The PS5 Pro goes beyond graphical improvements. It includes faster memory, support for Wi-Fi 7, and a substantial 2TB SSD for ample storage. Sony has also integrated 2GB of additional DDR5 RAM, along with a user-accessible battery bay, offering convenience for future maintenance or upgrades.

With its release just days away, the PS5 Pro brings a suite of performance upgrades, but whether it’s worth the $700 investment remains a question for gamers to consider.
