With Activision Blizzard now owned by Microsoft, they have signed a deal with Sony to keep the Call of Duty franchise on PlayStation.
When Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard, PlayStation fans wondered the multi-billion dollar franchise Call of Duty would leave their console.
From a tweet made by Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming, it states that Microsoft and PlayStation have signed an agreement to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation.
“From Day One of this acquisition, we’ve been committed to addressing the concerns of regulators, platform and game developers, and consumers. Even after we cross the finish line for this deal’s approval, we will remain focused on ensuring that Call of Duty remains available on more platforms and for more consumers than ever before.” said by Microsoft President and Vice Chair Brad Smith.
