Nintendo has unveiled a fresh experience for fans, and this time it’s all about the music. The gaming giant just released a new mobile app, Nintendo Music, exclusively for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers, which lets fans enjoy iconic soundtracks from classic Nintendo titles. Available on iOS and Android, the app includes music from celebrated franchises such as The Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing, and Splatoon.
Nintendo Music isn’t just a playlist app. Subscribers can explore curated playlists organized by games, moods, and themes, while also creating their own customized music collections. The app’s streaming options allow users to enjoy tracks on the go or download them for offline listening—perfect for long flights or data-conscious players.
In a unique twist, Nintendo Music also includes a “spoiler filter.” This feature helps users avoid hearing tracks that might reveal important game elements from titles they haven’t finished yet. Additionally, for fans seeking uninterrupted ambiance, users can loop or extend select songs for 15, 30, or even 60 minutes.
Currently, Nintendo Music is available across a wide range of regions, including the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Canada, South Korea, and several countries throughout Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Nintendo hinted that more regions may be added in the future, bringing the immersive soundscapes of Nintendo’s beloved worlds to an even broader audience.
This app marks Nintendo’s latest expansion in digital services for their loyal Switch Online community as anticipation builds around the announcement of the company’s next-generation console.
