PlayStation has confirmed that the long-awaited sequel, Horizon Forbidden West, is coming to both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on February 18.
Horizon Forbidden West continues the story of Aloy sent on a quest to the arcane frontier to find the source of a plague that kills all that it affects. Players take on the character of Aloy and traverse the hostile regions that consist of hard weather and harsh enemies. Check out the trailer below.
Although it was a tough decision to delay the launch further to 2022, PlayStation mentioned that they are thankful for the support its fans and community it gave. Additionally, the patch for Enhanced Performance for Horizon Zero Dawn on PS5 is now live, and players can enjoy a targeted 60 FPS for this free update.
PlayStation states that more information will come in the following months in regards to its Horizon Forbidden West. However, pre-orders for the game will start on September 2, so stick around for more updates on this.
