A recent leak has stirred excitement within the Honkai: Star Rail community, hinting at new enemies set to debut in the game’s much-anticipated fourth world. The leak, shared by well-known leaker Sakura Haven, reveals a list of potential adversaries for players to face in “Version 3.X.” Among the names dropped are Hearse, Nikadory, Unicorn, and Griffin, each possibly bringing unique mechanics to the table. While Honkai: Star Rail fans are still waiting for official confirmation, the new version is rumored to arrive in early 2025.

The leaked details point to Unicorn and Griffin introducing a fresh mechanic that targets characters outside the player’s first party position, potentially shaking up battle strategies. Although specific details about their abilities remain scarce, these enemies are expected to add a new layer of complexity to the gameplay.

The names of the new enemies have sparked some speculation as well. Hearse may have roots in Greek mythology, possibly referencing Herse of Athens, a princess from ancient tales. Meanwhile, Nikadory could derive from the Greek words for victory (“Nik”) and spear (“Dory”), hinting that this enemy might be a spear-wielding figure or even a sentient weapon.

What to Expect from Version 3.X

While most of the buzz has been around the leaked enemies, the next world in Honkai: Star Rail promises to bring even more to the table. HoYoverse is building momentum with recent updates, and players are gearing up for exciting new character additions in Version 2.7. Two highly-anticipated characters, Sunday and Fugue, are set to become playable soon. Additionally, leaks suggest that a five-star variant of fan-favorite character Herta could be on the horizon.
