Warner Bros. and Jam City are all set to launch their new Harry Potter mobile RPG game for Android and iOS, with a release date being confirmed. The game hits the Google Play and Apple App stores on April 25.
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is a mobile role-playing game set in J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter universe, that puts you in the shoes of a new student at Hogwarts. You get to choose your own house, interact with other characters, learn spells and potions, and discover mysteries around Hogwarts.
Big fans of the books’ and movies’ dynamic trio, however, may be disappointed to know that the story of the game is set sometime between Harry Potter’s birth and enrollment into Hogwarts, so it’s unlikely we’ll get to see him, Ron, and Hermione.
That being said though, we do have some familiar voices returning to the fray, with Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick), Dame Maggie Smith (Professor McGonagall), and Michael Gambon (Professor Dumbledore) all being confirmed to be part of the voice cast.
The game launches on April 25 and those excited to play can pre-register at the Google Play Store here.
