Last month, Forza Motorsport celebrated its first anniversary with a massive update, but November’s Update 14 shifts gears even further, delivering an experience that’s sure to excite NASCAR fans. This new update, titled “American Thunder,” introduces “next-gen NASCAR” to Xbox’s premier racing game, offering a full slate of NASCAR content and enhancements to further deepen the Forza experience.

Alongside these iconic cars, players can dive into a brand-new career tour themed around the world of NASCAR, giving fans the chance to race against other drivers in high-stakes, wheel-to-wheel action on some of the sport’s most thrilling tracks.

For fans of competitive online racing, the update includes a dedicated NASCAR multiplayer series, where players can test their skills in fierce head-to-head matchups.
Beyond NASCAR, this update packs in a variety of general improvements. Players will notice enhanced visuals, improved Drivatar AI that makes for a more realistic driving experience, and the introduction of “advanced ghosting” in multiplayer to smooth out racing interactions. Additional small tweaks and adjustments round out the update, pushing Forza Motorsport’s quality up another notch as the game passes its one-year milestone on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
