Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age PS4 version to be released on September 4

One of the pioneers of the Role Playing Game genre that is still alive and kicking is the Dragon Quest franchise. The game was only available in Japan since July 2017 but now, users around the world will now be able to experience Square Enix’s latest addition to the Dragon Quest series.

Sony Interactive Entertainment Hong Kong Limited (Singapore branch) recently announced that the English version of the Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age will be released in September 4, 2018 under the PlayStation 4 platform. The company also said that they have added new features that were not present in the Japanese version such as:

  • English voiceovers
  • Draconian quest is basically the Hard mode of the game that offers additional challenges for the players.
  • Menu & UI enhancements
  • Camera mode where players can check out the environment and sceneries.
  • New Dash function with the addition of improved character and camera movements.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age follows the traditional turn-based battle system with free movement system. Square Enix has estimated that it will take 50-100 hours to complete the game. Watch the opening movie here:

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age English version on PS4 is priced at Php2,799 (physical copy).
