Blizzard Entertainment is gearing up to launch the next major update for Diablo Immortal on September 11, 2024. Titled Crucible of Justice, this update will introduce new content and challenges, offering players an exciting continuation of the main questline and fresh features to explore.
The Crucible of Justice main quest picks up where the Southern Dreadlands storyline left off, as players struggle with the shattered shards of the Worldstone embedded within their bodies. Unable to wield the archangel Tyrael’s sword, El’druin, players must journey to the treacherous Cold Isles to face their inner demons and prepare for their ultimate confrontation with Diablo.
Alongside this new chapter, players can engage in the Vanguard co-op mode, a brand-new activity designed for four-player teams. In Vanguard, players will face hordes of enemies and complete objective-based challenges, such as escorting a Guardian Spirit or battling a Helliquary Boss. As the difficulty increases, so do the rewards, encouraging teamwork and strategic gameplay.
New Legendary Gems are also being introduced, offering powerful abilities that enhance players’ builds. These gems include Wulfheort, Cold Confidant, and Entropic Well, each providing unique powers that can be unlocked through Resonance Gems. Players can also try these new gems during the limited-time Legendary Gem Trial, running from September 11 to October 2.
Additionally, Festival of the Ancient Moon and Toil of Virtue will bring limited-time events where players can earn rewards by completing daily and weekly tasks. With server maintenance scheduled between September 10-11.
